Congratulations to our 3 read prize winners! They had a lovely morning visiting WHSmiths to select a book of their choice, followed by a hot chocolate. What a wonderful opportunity to talk about their reading preferences and to develop a love of reading. 📚❤️ Thank you to our MSA who make this possible!

What an incredible day we had yesterday for Marp Jam, which was made possible with the support from our wonderful MSA!

A huge thank you all of the staff for their support and to Devon & Torbay Music Education Hubs for subsidising the DJ workshop with Sound Communities CIC and for the loan of all the wonderful instruments.

A special thanks to Mr Keywood and Mr Plant for transporting the instruments, Mrs Keywood and Miss May for helping in the ‘Have a Go’ tent, Miss Pattison for her mesmerising violin performances in the hall and at lunchtime and to Mrs Kelly and Miss Foxon for leading the awesome glockenspiel and dynamic Taiko drumming sessions. In addition to our talented school staff, we were joined by a range of inspiring musicians who led workshops and performances. We had so much fun!!! Wow! What a show! The Schoolovision Song Contest was absolutely brilliant! We are so so proud of our year 5 and year 6 children- you were all AMAZING! And a hats off to our dedicated staff for leading such a magnificent performance! What a way for our year 6s to end their journey at Marpool, and what a wonderful journey it’s been 🎉❤️

We were fortunate enough today to host the most incredible author visit from the fabulous Sarah McIntyre and Philip Reeves. The children were in complete awe of this dynamic duo and couldn’t wait to get writing following their presentation. A huge thank you to Budleigh Salterton Literary Festival for enabling this to happen! ❤️📕📗📘📙
