He will be doing this to raise vital funds for the Royal British Legion, who have been there for the Armed Forces community for over 100 years, through world wars, national emergencies, and personal crises.

On Friday afternoon the Eynsham crew got called out to a less tiresome job compared to recent weeks. This lovely dog Ringo had accidentally locked itself in the car with the keys inside. The crew used specialist equipment called the goldfinger to start gaining entry to the vehicle, however the spare key arrived swiftly to unlock the vehicle and Ringo was out safely to enjoy treats and cuddles from the crew 🐶🚒

Recent wildfires across the UK have shown just how quickly a small fire can become a major incident.

With the current hot, dry conditions, the risk of fire remains extremely high. Please do your part to help keep our communities safe:

❌ Do not light BBQs, campfires or bonfires in open countryside areas
❌ Never discard ci******es on the ground or from vehicles
❌ Take all litter home, especially glass bottles which can focus sunlight
✅ Report signs of fire immediately by calling 999

With continued high temperatures and dry ground conditions, the risk of wildfires remains high.

A single spark can be enough to start a wildfire, whether it's caused by machinery working in fields, a discarded cigarette, or everyday activities in the countryside.

✅ Dispose of smoking materials responsibly
✅ Avoid using disposable barbecues in open countryside areas
✅ Report fires immediately by calling 999

We are asking you to consider the following:
🔥Have you created a fire break whilst harvesting?
💦Is there a water source nearby that we could use if needed?
🔧Have you cleaned down your machinery after use to prevent build up?
📒Have you got a plan of your farm for our use if a fire occurs?
