The junior author in the spotlight at Fakenham library this month is Maria Parr. She has written Astrid the Unstoppable – "A hilarious and heart-warming story about family and friendship" and Lena, the Sea and Me – "A salt-tanged, airy and adventurous story."

There are just 2 weeks left of the Summer Reading Challenge! 📚
That's still plenty of time to sign up if you haven't already. And remember, you don't have to read 6 huge books! You can choose whatever works for you, and also collect stickers for meeting your goals. For example, you could read 3 books and reach 3 goals to complete your challenge!

Pop into the library to sign up and to collect your stickers. You can receive your certificate and medal when you finish, or at a special presentation ceremony!

We've had an amazing day at Fakenham Library with Garlic Theatre and their Billy Goats Gruff show! Big thanks to Creative Arts East and the Fakenham Library Friends for funding this show, and everyone who came along and joined in with the fun!

We really hope to get Garlic Theatre back again next year - it's one of our highlights of the year!
