An early start, first job of the day was prepping equipment for the day and adding freezol to some waters for a new customer.

By frost protecting your extinguishers you will be ensuring they work during the winter months and also prevent any damage internally that can be caused when an extinguisher freezes.

Check what’s sitting in your windows— mirrors or other shiny objects can concentrate sunlight and start a fire. We remove these magnifying mirrors from our customers windowsills almost on a weekly basis.

We are looking for a Fire Extinguisher / Portable Appliance Tester to join us…….. 🧯🔥

We are a small team and are looking for someone who is willing to get stuck in and play an active role in the business. The position involves servicing portable fire extinguishers and carrying out portable appliance testing across a range of premises including schools, factories, offices, HMOs, campsites, farms and holiday properties. Covering Norfolk and Suffolk, you will also be responsible for installing new and maintaining existing fire fighting equipment in accordance with British Standards.

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, and includes private health insurance, a company van, work phone and full uniform. Salary is dependent on experience.

Previous experience would be preferred; however, full training can be provided for the right individual. Applicants must hold a full UK driving licence. Due to the nature of the sites we attend, an enhanced DBS check will be required prior to employment.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, practical and keen to learn, with a desire to develop within the business. There will be opportunities in the future to be trained and mentored into other areas, including fire training and fire risk assessment.
