Looking for a rainy day activity with the kids? ☔️

The KC Kangaroo Club was THE place to be in Falkirk when I was little… a wee bit of 90s nostalgia for some of you! 😂

But a lot has changed since the days of KC Kangaroo Club, Aussies, Calley’s Crèche and Charlie Chalks… if you know, you know! 👀

These days, I feel like most weekends involve a trip to a play café, sensory space or family friendly venue.

So, who is the mama behind Mama Wellbeing Co? 🤍

Hi, I’m Gilly 👋🏼

Mama. Health visitor. Family Nurse. Yoga Teacher… wearing lots of different hats.

Because as mums, as women, we often do that, don’t we? The constant juggling and somehow making it all work.

I created Mama Wellbeing Co because I believe women deserve more than simply being told what happens in pregnancy, birth and motherhood.

You deserve information, space, support and a voice in the decisions that affect you.

My teaching brings together birth physiology, evidence and women’s voices with intuition, self-trust and autonomy.

Science in one hand. Intuition in the other ✨

I’m not here to tell you how your journey should look.

I’m here to walk beside you, share the map, answer your questions and help you find the path that feels right for you.

Whether that’s through yoga, birth preparation or simply having a space to pause, connect and feel supported.

And because motherhood was never meant to be done alone, I hope Mama Wellbeing Co can become a part of your village, if it’s not already 🤍

Welcome to my little corner of the world.

My hope is that this kind of support becomes the norm, not the exception.

Friday morning mum & baby yoga is now full for the next block starting Friday 14th August ❤️

I’m so incredibly grateful that September is also now on a waitlist. Thank you for all of your support, it truly means so much.

If you’ve been thinking about joining us over the next couple of months and haven’t already been in touch, please send me a message. I’ll keep you updated with future blocks and let you know if any spaces become available.

This class is about so much more than yoga. It’s a chance to move your body, bond with your little one, enjoy a cuppa and have those all important chats with other mums who just get it.

Motherhood can feel lonely at times, but my hope is that every mum who walks through the door feels seen, supported and celebrated 🤍

One of the things I hear most often from birth partners is:

"I don't know how I can help. What can I do to make a difference?"

And if that's something you've been thinking, you're definitely not alone.

The truth is, birth partners don't need to know everything or have all the answers.

But they can have such an important impact on your birth experience.

What makes the biggest difference is feeling prepared:

🤍 Knowing what's happening during labour

🤍 Having practical ways to offer comfort and reassurance

🤍Understanding your options and feeling confident to support your wishes and choices

Most of all, it's about feeling like you are not in this alone.

Taking the time to prepare for birth as a team can be invaluable.

One of my favourite parts of teaching hypnobirthing is seeing couples leave feeling more connected and confident.

Partners often tell me they came along expecting to just "sit in" and be there on the day, but instead left realising they have such an important role to play.

Birth preparation isn't just about preparing for your baby. It's about preparing yourselves as a team. 🤍

If you have a little one on the way, my next small group Hypnobirthing Course starts in October, and we'll spend time exploring all of these skills together in a relaxed, welcoming space.

It was my little boy’s fourth birthday last week… the one who made me a mama 🧡.

And this weekend, we’ll be celebrating my little girl’s first birthday 💛🥹.

Four years of motherhood. Four years of learning, growing, laughing, worrying, loving more than I ever thought possible… and definitely feeling completely exhausted more often than not 😅.

Our littles’ birthdays are so special, but I also think they are a milestone for us as mums too.

Because however your birth unfolded, and however your journey into motherhood has looked, you’ve experienced one of life’s biggest transformations. You’ve carried, nurtured, adapted, and grown alongside your little one. That’s incredible, and I don’t think we give ourselves enough credit.

So when birthdays come around and you celebrate another year of their beautiful lives, I hope you take a moment to celebrate yourself too.

You became a mum. And that’s something worth celebrating.

I’ll be taking a wee moment this weekend to celebrate my little girl turning one... and quietly celebrate another year of being their mama too 🥰✨.

What I love most about the pregnancy and mum and baby classes is that they’re so much more than just a yoga class.

They become a little community 🤍.

There’s never any pressure to share, but so often we find ourselves chatting about how we’re really feeling during pregnancy and postpartum.

We celebrate the highs, support each other through the tougher days, and remind one another that we’re not alone.

It’s a space where no question feels silly, where you can say, “This week has felt really hard,” and know you will be met with understanding, kindness, and reassurance.

We celebrate milestones together, whether that’s reaching a new week in pregnancy, finishing work for maternity leave, celebrating little one’s first words or simply having a better week than the last.

And the support doesn’t end when class does. We stay connected on WhatsApp, sharing newborn announcements, checking in with one another, and chatting about everything from birth prep to recommendations for painters and decorators during that inevitable nesting phase 🏡✨.

It’s just women supporting women through one of the biggest transitions in life.

That sense of community is such a special part of these classes, and sometimes, it’s where the real magic happens ✨.

✨ New mum & baby yoga block starts tomorrow ✨

We’re fully booked and I can’t wait to see you all! 💛

It will actually be my first mum & baby yoga class teaching properly solo since returning from maternity leave...

Because up until now, little Phoebe has been my trusty sidekick 🥹

From our wee Halloween special back in October right through to June, she’s been there for it all.

But she’s not a little baby anymore, and I honestly can’t believe she will be turning ONE soon 🥺🎂 (what?!).

She’s now crawling, cruising and generally causing mischief everywhere she goes 😂.

She definitely went out in style too... making her last class all about her and making sure everyone heard her opinions! 🤣

So, Happy Retirement, Phoebe! 🥰

She won’t be joining me in class anymore... she’s got much more important plans involving adventures at her gran’s house 🏡

Here’s to a new chapter, for both of us ❤️
