Fareham & Portchester Libraries - Hampshire County Council Fareham Library is a bustling library on two floors opposite Fareham Shopping Centre. A busy two story building in the heart of Fareham town centre.

Portchester Library is located on West Street, in the same building as Portchester Surgery, in Portchester. As well as books we lend magazines, DVDs, music CDs, spoken word cassettes and CDs as well as many other items. We have free internet access and Wi-Fi connection available to all. We run a wide range of courses including basic computing, languages, family history and crafts. We also have a well stocked local studies area, access to eBooks and a whole host of online resources.

☕ Home Instead Friendship Café at Fareham Library on Tuesday 16th June ☕

The Friendship Café is a free, dementia-friendly group designed to bring people together in a relaxed and supportive environment.

✨ What to expect:
💛Meet new people and enjoy friendly conversation
💛Enjoy a nice hot drink and a slice of cake
💛Fun, engaging activities led by trained staff

This is a wonderful opportunity for those living with dementia, their carers, and anyone looking for companionship in a safe and inclusive space.

What a fabulous evening we all had here at Fareham Library for the Women's Prize evening.
Thank you to everyone who came along and supported the event.

Huge congratulations to Dame Malorie Blackman and Dame Julia Donaldson! 👏

We are completely delighted to see these two former Waterstones being recognised in the King's Birthday Honours this year.

They have both done so much - and continue to do so much - to help every child discover a love of reading, and we are so grateful for their ongoing support of BookTrust.
