Message from our PTA regarding our Summer Festival tomorrow (1-4pm)

We are busy making preparations for the summer festival tomorrow! The weather is looking very warm so we are taking every precaution to keep everyone safe so we can enjoy the sun safely.

In addition to the available food and drinks to keep you cool, we have also:

Located attractions in the shaded areas of the school
Additional gazebos for stall holders to be undercover as much as possible
Cold water refill station in the junior school hall

We look forward to seeing you there!

Everyone is welcome!

We are excited to be refreshing and developing our Year 1 learning area to create an engaging, inspiring, and stimulating environment for our children. To help bring our vision to life, we are looking for donations of new or gently used items that could be given a second home in our classroom and outdoor spaces.
We would be grateful for donations of:

Drain pipes
Crates
Cable reel
Brushes
Mud kitchen items
Gardening tools (safe for children)
Sand toys
Small world items
Anything else you think would support our learning!

If you have any of these items that you no longer need, we would love to put them to good use. Every contribution, no matter how small, will help us create an exciting and enriching learning environment for our Year 1 children.
Donations can be brought to school and handed to a member of staff.

Thank you for your continued support and generosity. Together, we can create a wonderful space where our children can learn, explore, and thrive.

Dear Parents and Carers

Firstly, I would like to extend a massive thank you and well done to staff and children who have been incredibly sensible today ensuring they didn't run around too much, took shade in the trees, drank lots of water, closed doors to keep warm air out and continued to work well.

The weather alert for our area has now been raised to Red and as I indicated in my earlier message I have reviewed our risk assessment and in order to protect the health and wellbeing of children and staff we will be closed tomorrow, Thursday 25th June.

Year R (September 2026)
At Playdaze, we are running a series of School Starter Play Sessions throughout June for children who will be starting Year R/Reception this September.

These sessions are designed to give children the opportunity to meet and play with other new starters in a relaxed, fun environment ahead of beginning school. It’s a lovely way for children (and parents/carers) to start making familiar connections before September.

Families can either walk in to a session or book online in advance at Playdaze.pembee.app. Each school has their own session.
