While most of the country sleeps, thousands of dedicated professionals are hard at work maintaining the infrastructure we all rely on — from rail networks to motorways. It’s often a thankless task. We feel the frustration of lane closures and diversions, but night-time working is what keeps disruption to a minimum and ensures essential upgrades and maintenance can be delivered safely and efficiently.

This week alone, our teams are surveying sites across the country. Leadership is very much hands-on; even our Director has been on site at Gravelly Hill in Birmingham, carrying out a coating condition survey to ensure long-term asset protection and performance.

Paint Inspection Ltd have been completing more and more HV holiday testing. We have also had to check work where this testing has been completed far too early and with voltages far too high for the coating system.

Paint Inspection Ltd have recently completed a pre-specification survey to the canopies at Tyseley Station in Birmingham, as an approved Network Rail inspection company holding RISQ and PTS qualified inspectors, this survey required not just testing the current system to see if there was potential to save money but also completed heavy metal analysis to see what future contractors would have to manage in terms of risk.
