Ghostly Encounters UK is heading back to RAF Manston!! Only this time we are really apprehensious as to what we will find!!!
We have 2 new locations that have never been investigated before!!
The first, is an underground bunker, with no electricity and very little natural light in the daytime...and well, it just feels strange!
The second location, is an old building on the Airfield, that feels...well, come and find out as we head inside to discover what lies beneath. It'll be another amazing evening, as this venue seldom lets us down.
The last time we visited we had mobile phones go flat, new batteries go flat, shadows appear and activity on the Ouija boards as well as the SLS Camera and much, much more!!!
In 1916, aircraft first began to use farmlands at Manston as a site for emergency landings and soon after that, it was established as The Admiralty Aerodrome at Manston, where a training school was set up to instruct Handley Page Bomber's.
Flt Sub Lt Wilfred Norman Cross RNAS, aged 18, died during a crash at Manston and he's buried at Minster Cemetery.
During the second world war, whilst the Battle of Britain was in progress, Manston was heavily bombed; at its height (August 1940) diary entries recorded a steady stream of damage to aircraft and buildings.
The station was also littered with unexploded bombs and the base personnel hid in the woods for a week.
Barnes Wallis used the Manston Airfield as a base. He tested his bouncing bomb on the coast at nearby Reculver, prior to the Dambusters raid.

✨THIS SATURDAY!!✨

Ghostly Encounters UK is excited to invite you to this amazing evening.

This building hasn't been investigated for over a year, and we are going back!!

The Alexander Centre in Faversham was built in the 1860's as Gatefield House by Henry Barnes, who made his fortune as a brick-maker. This was a private residence for himself and his family. Little else is known of him and his family.

Later, it became the home of Sir Sidney Alexander, after whom the building is now named.
Sir Sidney was a pioneering vascular surgeon and Faversham’s longest-serving Mayor. He lived in the property until he passed away in 1943, after which the building was bequeathed to the local council and was then a civic building for many years.

The attic room, where servants once lived, have now been renovated, but the layout has remained the same for the last 100 years.

There is a jail cell in the basement, from the times when the Batterbee Room, on the 1st floor, was used as a magistrates court.

Cold spots and the sense of being watched are just some of the feelings that have been reported in the building.

Famously, Pluckley is well known for being the most haunted village in Kent...However, Faversham (a Medieval Market Town) is the most haunted town in Kent!!

So, join the Ghostly Encounters UK team as we, with your help, investigate The Alexander Centre and try to unlock its secret past.

Tickets are £35.00 per person, and the investigation will start at 19.30pm and finish around 01.30am

We had a brilliant afternoon on Saturday at our Introduction to the Paranormal 👻
Massive thank you to everyone who attended, it was so lovely to meet you all 🤩

There were skeptics and believers of the paranormal, which we love because we want to hear both sides 🤗

We spoke about how we conduct investigations, the equipment that is used and to answer any of them concerns and scariness that maybe stopping you from doing any paranormal investigations 👻👻
