Welcome to Faversham Pools

Come and pay us a visit where you can swim in our Indoor Pools (all year round) and Outdoor Pools (from May to September). The Outdoor Pool was originally opened in 1964 with the Indoor Pools and Outdoor Fun Pool with Rapids opening in 1993. Children’s Under 8 policy: All children under 8 years of age must be accompanied at all times by an adult of at least 16 years. Ad

SUMMER TIME
Rapids are run every hour on the hour for 15min starting at 11am at weekends and during the school holidays. Diving boards are open from 11am till an hour before closing.

The outdoor pool and rapids will be open for everyone across both sessions.

So whether you’ve practically lived here all summer or haven’t managed an outdoor swim yet, come and squeeze in one last summer session with us. 💙

There’s still time to apply for one of our 2027 TCS London Marathon charity places, but not for much longer!

Applications will close on Thursday 10th September, and we’ll be letting our successful runners know early the following week so they can get started with their training. 👟

Our charity places come with a £2,500 fundraising pledge and £125 registration fee, with the money raised supporting Faversham Pools. 💙

Whether you’ve always wanted to run London or you know someone who’d be perfect for the challenge, now’s the time to get that application in.

🍻 VISITING US THIS WEEKEND?

Faversham Hop Festival takes place this weekend, 5th & 6th September, which means the town will be much busier than usual.

There will be restrictions affecting Central Car Park, so if you’re coming for a swim, please plan ahead and allow some extra time for your journey and parking.

The Pools are open, so don’t let the busy town put you off! 💦

With the schools heading back, our regular swimming lessons return this week too. 🎓📚✏️

A quick reminder that on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30pm, the main indoor pool and learner pool are closed to the general public while lessons take place.

During this time, adult lane swimming and general swimming will still be available in the outdoor pool. 💦

Our outdoor pool remains open for general swimming until Sunday 13th September, so summer swimming isn’t quite over yet! ☀️

On Saturdays, the learner pool will be available to the public from 10:15am.

Please check the timetable for available sessions and book online before visiting. 💙

Making the most of the last week of the summer holidays? ☀️💦

We’re still open outdoors this week, including the outdoor pools and rapids, so there’s still time to fit in another visit before everyone heads back to school!

We’re expecting things to be a little quieter this week too, so if you’ve been avoiding the really busy summer days, now could be a good time to come along. 🏊

One of our most popular events of the year is returning on Saturday 19th & Sunday 20th September!

Bring your four-legged swimmers along for an hour of splashing, swimming and plenty of doggy chaos in the outdoor rapids. 🐶💦

What a night! 🎬💦

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for Cinema Night on Saturday. We had such a brilliant evening and hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did!

There’s something pretty special about an evening swim, the sun going down and then settling in for a film by the pool. 💙

☀️ It’s looking like a HOT one this week! ☀️

With the warmer weather comes busier days at the Pools, so if you’re planning to spend the day with us, please come prepared with plenty of drinks, snacks or even a picnic. 🥪💦

Our café can get extremely busy when the sunshine brings everyone out, so bringing your own means less time queuing and more time enjoying the pools!

Don’t forget the sun cream, plenty of water and your swimming gear! ☀️💙

Enjoy a swim, grab your spot poolside and settle in for a brilliant evening under the summer sky. The main pool will stay open until it gets too dark, with the rapids closing as the film begins.
