Today, Oak class went to Kent Life for their WWII experience. The day was packed full of fun workshops where we were to consolidate our learning from last term. As always, the children were beautifully behaved and the adults were too! Well done, Oak class.

We are currently exploring the opportunity to run a series of free adult learning courses for parents and carers during the next academic year, hosted in the Willow Room at Selling CE Primary School.

These courses would be delivered by Kent Adult Education (KAE) and are designed to support family life, wellbeing, confidence and practical parenting skills. All courses would be completely free of charge, provided we have a minimum of 8 adult learners per course.

Before confirming which courses we will run, we would really value your views to ensure we are offering sessions that are genuinely useful and well attended.

Every class joined Joe Wickes' live workout and interview this afternoon as part of Mental Health Awareness Week. We also used our class worship session this morning to discuss wellbeing. We know how important it is to look after ourselves both physically and mentally.

A huge thank you to our Year Six team who have ensured our Year Six pupils have started each day with a hot cooked breakfast in preparation for their SATs. They have been calm, consistent and positive- just what everyone has needed during SATs week.

Maple class have been creative chameleons, learning how to sculpt with clay. They used their skills from the term to choose a leaf, imprint the clay with it, and cut around the shape carefully with a clay tool. This links to our science learning this term which is all about plants.

Can’t wait to see how they turn out! Well done! 🍁
