Brogdale Collections is a charity based at Brogdale to provide an open door to The National Fruit Collection through Festivals, Events, Tours, Courses and Educational Days. The National Fruit Collection boasts over 4,000 Heritage Fruit Varieties including Apples, Pears, Plums, Cherries, Cobnuts and Soft Fruits.

Today marks the birthday of Anton Janša, a pioneer of modern beekeeping whose work helped shape the importance of caring for bees and pollinators around the world.

Brogdale Collections celebrate the vital role bees and pollinators play in helping our fruit trees flourish. Our newly planted flower meadow is blooming beautifully, creating an important habitat and food source for bees and other pollinators.

We have a bee workshop for children and a beekeeping course for adults if you would like to learn more!

BEE SAFARI, 26 MAY
This half term, join us for our Bee Safari, where children can discover the fascinating world of bees, learn how honey is made, and explore why pollinators are so important to our environment and food production. 🍯🌼
