What We Do:
Our firefighters stand trained and ready to cope with a whole range of emergencies, not just fire. These include: road, rail or air crashes, floods, chemical spills and even terrorist attack.

Featherstone crew attending a community event at Nostell Priory this morning. Don’t forget fire crews undertake many other duties other than responding to emergencies. Community engagement and fire safety visits all form part of a Firefighters job role. If you or anyone you know are interested in becoming an On-Call Firefighter at Featherstone fire station WE ARE RECRUITING!!!!

Yesterday’s field fire at Fitzwilliam ended up effecting approximately 700m x 700m of crops which equates to 49 hectares. Featherstone crew also attended a further 3 deliberate field fires yesterday evening.
