Felixstowe Library

Felixstowe Library We are a busy library at the heart of the community. Suffolk’s Libraries Industrial and Provident Society Limited is our formally registered name.

We have all the 'traditional' library services but can help with access to the e-library (e-books, e-audio books, music, films & magazines) too. We call ourselves Suffolk Libraries. We are an Industrial and Provident Society, a not for profit, independent and charitable organisation set up in August 2012 to run the service for the benefit of the people of Suffolk. All libraries in Suffolk are run by Suffolk Libraries. We’re contracted by Suffolk County Council to run the service.

Ted and Tess are currently at Felixstowe Library to draw attention to our competition to write a 'back story' for them. The competition is open to all primary school children in the area and involves writing a story about Ted and Tess.
- Where did they come from?
- How did they end up in Felixstowe?
- Why is fairtrade important to them?
Entries should be no more than 700 words and can be sent to [email protected] or handed in at the library. Full details on our website www.felixstowe-fairtrade.org.uk
