East Suffolk Council will be at Cavendish Park from 1pm-4pm today to listen to your ideas about what improvements to the area could look like.

Felixstowe Town Council is pleased to have contributed £50,000 to the refurbishment of the play equipment.

On 27 September, the Mayor of Felixstowe, Cllr Darren Aitchison, will undertake a skydive to raise money for the Mayor's charities, Dora Brown, Brave Futures and Pitstop.

It was a pleasure to welcome Bürgermeister Olaf Meining and the Salzwedel delegation to Felixstowe for this year’s Felixstowe Carnival.

As one of Felixstowe’s twin towns, Salzwedel has a longstanding friendship with Felixstowe, and visits such as this provide a valuable opportunity to strengthen the links between the two communities.

The Salzwedel delegation joined the Carnival celebrations and enjoyed the opportunity to meet with representatives of Felixstowe Town Council and members of the local community.

Due to the ongoing dry weather conditions, Felixstowe Town Council is adjusting its watering schedules to ensure the town’s popular Felixstowe in Flower hanging baskets and floral displays are maintained as responsibly and sustainably as possible.

The Council’s Grounds Team works in close partnership with Felixstowe Ferry Golf Club, which generously provides sustainably sourced water to help keep the town looking vibrant throughout the summer months.

With local water resources under pressure, the Town Council’s Grounds Team is adopting a targeted, prioritised watering route to conserve supplies while giving care to the displays that need it most.
