Today is Samaritans Awareness Day, a reminder that no one has to face difficult moments alone. The “24/7” date reflects the fact that Samaritans are there to listen day or night, whenever someone needs support, comfort, or simply a safe space to talk.

Life can feel overwhelming at times, and reaching out is never a sign of weakness. Whether you’re struggling yourself or checking in on someone you care about, a conversation can make a real difference. Today is a good reminder to be kind, look out for each other, and let people know they are heard and valued.

Hi 💜
For those of you fabulous people that I haven’t yet had the pleasure of meeting.

My name is Debbie Brown, I worked for Supportive for almost 30 years before retiring in 2024. 💜

However this charity is so addictive and I have now returned to support the organisation with some staff well-being, predominantly on a Wednesday between 10am and 4pm. 💜

If you feel you need to reach out and talk I’m here and am a great listener. 💜

Also as we go forward we will be holding a few well being sessions on a Wednesday afternoon. 💜
