FIRECALLS 🚒 🔥 📟 17/06/25

0830 Filey crew performed standby duties at Scarborough Fire Station after the Scarborough crews had been mobilised to reports of a horse transporter on fire. Crews attended and used 2 hose reel jets and 2 breathing apparatus to extinguish and protect neighboring property. Crews also dealt with a running fuel fire from the vehicle.

1751 Filey crew investigated a report of a small area of grass smouldering on the Cleveland Way. After a search of the are no fire was located.

1857 Filey and Scarborough crews were mobilised to a report of an automatic fire alarm signal in a residential property. This was caused by cooking fumes.

2211 Filey crew attended a small fire involving bushes. Cause of fire is believed to be a discarded cigarette. Crew used a hose reel to extinguish the fire.

FIRE CALL 🚒 🔥 📟 16/06/25

2224 Filey crew attended a property after reports of a van on fire.

Upon arrival the occupants had managed to move the vehicle into an open space using a telehandler and already had a pressure washer on the fire preventing it from spreading.

The crew then used 2 breathing apparatus and a hose reel to extinguish the fire which is thought to have been caused due to a mechanical fault.
