🏛️✨ The Mayor, Cllr E. Jones, and Mayoress, Cllr V. Nevitt, had the pleasure of welcoming the wonderful WeMindTheGap students to the Town Hall today.

The Mayor gave the students a guided tour of the Town Hall before hosting a fantastic question-and-answer session about the role of the Mayor, being a Councillor, and the work of the Town Council.

It was wonderful to see the students' enthusiasm, curiosity, and genuine interest in the Town Hall and its rich history. Their thoughtful questions made it a truly enjoyable and inspiring visit.

🌿✨ Our Town Caretaker has been busy this week cleaning, tidying and weeding — and what a difference it has made! 👏😊

All his hard work and dedication in helping to keep our town clean, tidy and welcoming for everyone. 🧹🌸🏡

Today at Age and Dementia, it was time for a bit of fun — eyes down for bingo! 🎉

We were able to make this wonderful morning possible thanks to the very kind donation from the Richard Heights and Bolingbroke Heights Residents Group. They generously donated a bingo machine, bingo cards, and a £50 donation. We are truly grateful for their kindness and support — it means so much to us.

Mair and Val from the flats joined us for the morning, and Val did a fantastic job as our bingo caller. Thank you, Val — you were brilliant! 👏

A special thank you to our Deputy Mayor, Cllr M. Whittaker, for visiting us, spending time chatting with our guests, and doing a wonderful job drawing the raffle. 🎟️🎉

We also appreciated our local PCSOs popping in to check on our guests and spending time with us. 👮‍♀️

A big thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make it another wonderful morning full of smiles, laughter, and community spirit. ❤️

Bring along your broken or tired items and let our amazing team of volunteers take a look! We have a wide range of skills on hand,

🛠️ General DIY fixes
🚲 Bike repairs
🎸 Musical instruments
🧵 Sewing and textiles (unfortunately this service is not offered today)
