A little time together can make a big difference. ✨

Our foster carers and fostering team recently spent some time together at Alyn Waters for one of our wellbeing walks.🌲

We’ve introduced these walks as a simple way to bring people together, get out into the fresh air and create a bit of space to chat, catch up and connect with others in our fostering community. 💜

Fostering can be busy, so having time to step away from the usual routine and spend time with people who understand the journey can be really valuable. Sometimes it’s the conversations along the way, the shared experiences or simply having a laugh together that make the biggest difference. 🥰

We’re looking forward to doing more of these and seeing where the next walk takes us. 🧡

The first week back at school can be a big adjustment for children and families. New routines, early mornings and getting back into the swing of things can leave everyone feeling a little worn out.

So, what better way to round off the school day than with fish and chips, a few games and some music? 🐟🍟

Our children and carers came together after school to enjoy a relaxed afternoon, tuck into some tea, play games, listen to music and, most importantly, spend some time together.

It might seem like a simple get-together, but these moments matter. They give children the chance to relax after a busy day, reconnect with familiar faces and enjoy being part of a supportive community. For carers, it’s also a chance to catch up, share experiences and enjoy time with other families who understand the journey.

Because sometimes, after a busy first week back, you don’t need anything complicated. You just need good food, good company and a chance to have a bit of fun. ❤️

Our little ones had lots of fun exploring music at this week’s group, with instruments everywhere and plenty of opportunities to make some noise! 🥁

It was so lovely watching them pick up the instruments, have a go and see their little faces light up when they realised they could make their own sounds.

Alongside all the music, there was lots of playing, exploring and having fun together. These sessions give children the freedom to try new things, follow their interests and learn through play, all while spending time with other children and carers. ❤️
