Residents of Forest Row, we need to have a serious conversation about parking and community safety.
Earlier this evening, our local fire crew was **unable to turn out to an emergency call** because of vehicles parked illegally outside the Forest Row Village Club.
When every second counts, a fire engine shouldn't be held up by a preventable obstacle. This delay could have had devastating consequences.
# # # 🛑 Please Remember:
* **Double Yellow Lines:** These are not suggestions. They are there to ensure emergency vehicles have the clearance they need to maneuver.
* **Hatched Areas:** These must remain completely clear at all times. They are often the difference between a fire engine making a turn or being stuck.
* **Think Before You Park:** Just because your car "fits" doesn't mean a large emergency vehicle can get past.
We all love our village and our community spaces, but **public safety must come first.** Please be mindful of where you leave your vehicle and ensure our crews can respond to emergencies promptly and effectively.
