🍕We’ve teamed up with Ben Nevis takeaway in Inverlochy with a pizza stone giveaway. 🍕 Each week a pizza stone will be hidden locally, keep your eyes open when you’re outside! 👀 search up high and down low, you never know where our stone might go! If you’re the lucky one to find our treat, a FREE PIZZA will be yours to eat! 🍕 A little bit of kindness, a little bit of fun, so keep watching our page for a clue each week. On Monday we started a new project… Exploring our world🌍We set off on our travels without leaving the centre. ✈️ We used the world map to explore different countries that are close and far from where we live in Scotland. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿We matched flags to the countries, chatted about time zones. Learned about some of the different foods and dishes enjoyed around the world and compared them with some of Scottish favourites. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇨🇮🇲🇦🇦🇺🇫🇷🇸🇪🇧🇯🇬🇦🇪🇸🌏🗺️

Hello everyone, we have been contacted by the Nevis centre and unfortunately due to them having staffing pressures we are unable to go bowling tomorrow. They are allowing us the use of the hall instead. The Montrose team are working on an idea for tomorrow so we can still meet and have fun 🤩

On Wednesday we had a very special day at the Montrose centre. Our supported people wanted to express their gratitude to the people that support them in everyday life. Living with a learning disability can be hard. There are days filled with frustration, communication barriers, and moments where things feel overwhelming for everyone involved. But through every challenge our caregivers are there. You bring patience, understanding and safety to the people you care for. You do so much more than just help with daily routines, you listen, celebrate their wins and lift their spirits when things get tough. We know the work you do isn’t easy, and it takes incredibly special people to do it. Everyone at the Montrose centre wants to shout it off the roof tops how valued and loved you all are. There was not a dry eye in the house when our supported people shared their appreciation. The vintage cafe funded cinema tickets and meal vouchers for the carers to have some ‘ME’ time. It was also a sad day at the Montrose centre because we said goodbye to Ria. We will all miss her so much. She brought so much to the service. We love you Ria , enjoy your travels
