Buzzin Aboot Nature in Fraserburgh!
If you live in Fraserburgh, you may notice these signs popping up around town, created by a pupil from Lochpots School – our competition winner!
The posters help explain our Buzzin’ Aboot Nature project, delivered in partnership with Aberdeenshire Council Ranger Service, where four areas near local schools are being left uncut over the summer to give wildflowers and natural habitats the chance to establish and thrive, supporting pollinators and local wildlife. Pupils are also helping to monitor these spaces through fun Bioblitz activities.
We know these areas may look different, but they’re being carefully managed to help nature thrive. The winning design helps share that message with the wider community .
Please help us by respecting these areas – please don't disturb them.
