Meet Remi who has come to visit her dad
We love to welcome well behaved pets on the ward. The boost it gives the patients is indescribable and not available on prescription!!

It’s another HUGE Thank you!!
This time to Browns Department Stores Marshall's Yard for their donation to our grand raffle at our ward Birthday Party on September 18th

A huge Thankyou to Horsleys of Gainsborough for kindly donating a £50 voucher for our grand raffle to be drawn at our Birthday party on September 18th
Proceeds will go into our ward charitable funds of which help us purchase the things that make patients stay with us more comfortable.

Can you believe it? ….on September the 18th we will have been in our new ward for a year!!
So in true Scotter Ward style we are having a party….a Birthday party!!🥳
We will be launching our memory tree bought from Lincolnshire NHS Charity funds (watch this space for more details)
We will also be having a grand raffle

Sue and Summer from Tesco visited the ward yesterday and donated some toiletries and chocolates for our patients.
How fabulous is that?

One of our patients Gillian had a visit from her daughter last week with something very special to show her!
Kathryn ran the TCS London Marathon and brought her medal to show her mum.
Gillian deserves a medal for the phenomenal way she has progressed on her rehab journey following her recent stroke and here she is trying Kathryn’s on for size!
We couldnt believe how heavy the medal was!

Donna and Darby had a lovely morning this week attending the coffee morning at St Paul’s Church Morton

Thankyou so much for inviting us and for raising a huge £151.50 for our ward charitable funds! We assure you every penny will be spent enhancing the patient journey on the ward by purchasing those small things that make a difference for them.

We loved chatting with you all and the highlight of the morning was meeting our old friend Howie!! Howie was our first official ward pets as therapy dog and used to visit the ward with his ‘mum’ Kath of whom was a volunteer on the ward before she passed away several years ago

The Easter Activities continue on the ward!
Meet Wendy from NHSPS
Every year Easter Halloween and Christmas Wendy produces a themed trolley to entertain and delight the patients to brighten up their stay. Isn’t she fabulous?
We bought all patients an Easter egg from Lincolnshire NHS Charity charitable funds
Donna one of our brilliant volunteers made the knitted egg cosies and hid eggs around the ward for the staff to find
Donna CTL decorated the windows in the ward with Easter themed window stickers
All with an aim to ensure Easter wasn’t forgotton for patients with us and staff working over the bank holiday weekend
