We show up - will you?

It's time to take our demands to save public services to Westminster. On Tuesday 13th October, UNISON activists will be lobbying for the vital tenets of public services: invest in infrastructure, delivering fair pay, and making sure the wealthiest pay their fair share.

On the Prime Minister's speech on saving the social care system...

Now is the opportunity to get the NATIONAL social care infrastructure that will support those most in need. Revoking the smallminded and prejudiced ruling to extend the right for migrant social care workers to have lived in the UK for 15 years (instead of 5) is a good place to start.

It's finally back...the UNISON Gateshead Children's Christmas Party 2026 is coming on Sunday 6th December! The party is due to be held at Teams Life Centre between 11am and 3pm, and is the perfect way for our members' kids to get in the festive spirit! Announcements are still to come, but keep posted for some magical surprises...
