We are thrilled to announce an upcoming Charity Dinner hosted in support of Veterans at Ease, proudly supported by the Newcastle United Armed Forces Supporters Club!

What better way to spend an evening than connecting with friends from across the military and veteran community over a curry and refreshments?🍛🍻

We are exceptionally honored to welcome our guest speaker for the night: 🎖️ Mick Hawkes QGM – Former 22 SAS operator and MI5 Military Advisor.
Mick will be sharing incredible, first-hand insights from his 24 years of military service and covert Special Forces operations. It promises to be a memorable night of powerful storytelling, great food, and genuine camaraderie.
Every ticket sold helps Veterans at Ease continue their vital work providing free, professional therapy and mental health support to military veterans, reservists, and their families.

The 1940s Weekend at Baytree Garden Centre delivered a brilliant tribute to wartime history while raising crucial funds for our military community. Coordinated by Ann Marie and the dedicated Baytree team—whose months of hard work were evident in every detail—the event brought the local area together for a fantastic cause. As a Bostonian born and raised, attending the event felt remarkably like coming home, offering a deeply personal connection to a weekend filled with nostalgia and community pride.

A massive turnout of vintage cars, military vehicles, and specialised stalls created an immersive trip back in time.

Thanks to the exceptional generosity of attendees, the event raised £3,537.39 for Veterans At Ease. These funds directly support serving personnel, veterans, and their families struggling with mental health challenges.

Adding a touch of historic grandeur to the festivities, "Sir Winston Churchill" made a memorable appearance to draw the winning raffle tickets.

The impressive total raised stands as a testament to the community's generosity and the Baytree team's unwavering commitment to supporting those who served.
