Well everyone, I lost, Paul lost and Lauran lost. Reform UK have took control of most of Gateshead. My page name will change but can take up to 30 days to change.

Unfortunately I am no longer your councillor. It has been an honour serving in the capacity for two years, I’ll be back and, hopefully one day soon if needs be, I’ll step back into the shoes of a councillor for now time to look out for my family and support Birtley how I can.

Thank you all for your support and wish the new councillors the best of luck in the job, it’s isn’t easy.

If you don’t want a party focused on national politics instead of Birtley this is how to vote, Labour stopped caring the Tories don’t win in Birtley and the Greens have no presence. Vote to protect Birtley from slipping back into the after thought of Gateshead, vote to keep the hard work we have all been doing together.

Today we head to the polls. Today we decide if we want to continue our journey together working as a community to build a better Birtley or press the reset button and vote for a party who cares more about Westminster than Birtley. Local elections for local issues.

Took some time off from campaigning this afternoon. Barley Mow Village Hall organised a meeting between us and Gateshead council to answer for the shambles that was the Pride in place funding. Good to catch up with all the Trustees.
