Support Faye Collins in the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge.

Faye said "On 30 August 2026, I’m taking on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge - 24 miles, three mountains, all in under 12 hours.

"I’m raising money for St Bede’s, palliative care unit at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, who cared for my Dad with incredible compassion in his final weeks.

"Near the 2-year anniversary of his passing, I’ll be walking in his memory every step of the way.

"If you can donate or share, you’ll help other families receive the same care we did and honour a wonderful Husband, Dad and Grandad.

The St Bede's Unit held their much-anticipated Easter Fair on Saturday 11 April, bringing the community together for a day filled with joy and celebration.

Jezz Thomas Memorial Boxing Day Game in support of St Bede’s.

Gateshead Rugby Football Club once again brought the community together for a cause close to everyone’s heart, honouring the memory of Jezz Thomas. Over 50 players took to the field, creating a brilliant mix of experience, youth, and festive rivalry.

Thanks to their efforts, and the generosity of supporters, £1,705 was raised for the St Bede’s unit at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

After a tight battle, the Under‑30s surged ahead in the final 20 minutes, securing this year’s bragging rights.

A fantastic day celebrating rugby, friendship, and the legacy of Jezz.
