🌾 Our Wonderful Harvest Festival! 🌾

What a fantastic performance from our children yesterday in 'The Scarecrow Who Didn't Know'! We are so proud of every single one of them for their brilliant singing, acting and enthusiasm!

A huge thank you to all our families for their generous Harvest donations, supporting Gateshead Foodbank and Newcastle Soup Kitchen. ❤️

Special thanks also to Rev Houghton for his memorable Jammy Dodger service!

Well done, everyone! What a lovely way to celebrate Harvest together! 🍂🌻

🌾 Harvest Festival – Thursday 22nd October 🌾

A little reminder that our Harvest Festival is taking place this Thursday!

We haven't received many donations yet, so we'd be very grateful for any contributions families are able to make.

🥫 Non-perishable food items can be brought into school any day this week.

🍎 Fresh fruit and vegetables can be brought in on Thursday morning.

❤️ Monetary donations are also welcome and can be handed to class teachers or Lisa at reception.

Your generous donations will support Gateshead Foodbank and Newcastle Soup Kitchen, helping local people and families in need.

We understand that times can be difficult, and there is absolutely no pressure to contribute. Any donation, however small, will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your continued kindness and support!

We work closely with IntoUniversity. They are a fantastic bunch of people with an admirable mission: to help children find their passion in learning and to support them towards their best futures. Have you looked into their after school offers? They really are too good to miss.

Fabulous Fridays are back in KS2! 🎶🎹🎼

Our Friday mornings look a little different than the rest of the week. It’s our time to

“feel the rhythm, feel the rhyme, learn a
language—it’s music and Spanish time!" 🇪🇸✨

We have some incredibly exciting musical updates for this year:
🎤 Singing with Primary Robins: We are thrilled to welcome our new singing teacher, Christina, who will be joining each KS2 class. We kicked off today with a soulful Native American song (which we will soon learn to sing in a round!) and a sneak peek into Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
📸 Class 3 Spotlight: Check out the video/photos below! Some of our brilliant Class 3 children, who weren't camera shy at all, wanted to give you a taste of what they enjoyed singing today.
🪕 Ukuleles are Back: Ukulele lessons resumed today for Years 4 and 5, while Year 3 absolutely loved having their very first lesson with Lizzie!🎺 Brass Beats: Year 6 started their brand-new trumpet lessons with Mr. Ruston today—what a fantastic start!
What a truly fabulous end to our first full week back at school! Have a wonderful weekend, everyone! ❤️
