☀️ **Sunday Family Adventure – Canvey Island, Essex** 🌊🎡

Today we swapped the Kent coast for a little adventure across the Thames Estuary to **Canvey Island, Essex**. Although we're lucky to have some fantastic beaches in Kent, it's amazing how quickly you can reach Essex's coastline with just a short 1 hour drive, through the Dartford Tunnel.

Our first stop was the funfair, where my daughter couldn't wait to get on the rides before we headed off for lunch. 🎠😊

We then enjoyed an absolutely delicious Sunday roast at **The Oysterfleet Hotel, Bar & Restaurant**. The food was fantastic, the portions were generous, and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. We'd definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area! 🍽️👏

After lunch, it was time for a round of family golf. Let's just say the competition got a little intense! ⛳😂 With the sun blazing overhead, there was only one thing left to do afterwards—head down to the beach and cool off with a paddle in the sea. 🌊☀️

The views were beautiful, the weather couldn't have been better, and before we knew it, it was 5pm and still wonderfully warm. We headed home with the windows down, the breeze in our hair, and smiles all round after a brilliant family day out.

Sometimes the best adventures are the ones that are only a short drive away. ❤️

✨An important update ✨

​After a lot of thought, I have made the difficult decision that Rainham Food & Craft Market will no longer be running, with immediate effect.

​I want to say a massive thank you to all the amazing local businesses who have traded with us, and to every single person who came along to shop, support, and visit the market. It’s been wonderful bringing everyone together, and I’m so grateful for the community spirit you all brought with you.

We took a trip and perfect for those guests with autism and adhd. Food and drink easy to pass time without the noise of technology for an hour or two.

Just a short drive away from The Apple Tree or simply hop on and off a train.
