Opening hours are our usual:

-> Monday-Friday: 9am to 5pm
-> Saturday and Sunday: Closed

What happens in the library during the long vacation, you ask? This is a good example: the Assistant Librarian has been working to expand and improve the Self-care collection.

The shelving in this section has been updated with the help of our wonderful team! With thanks for their craftmanship.

What you need to know this week:
-We are still within Vacation Opening hours, 9am to 5pm
-We will have a one hour LUNCHTIME CLOSURE on WEDNESDAY between 1pm and 2pm
-We remain closed during the weekend

***IT'S BREAK TIME!***

Create / Play / Have a snack / Relax

Introducing our wellbeing and stress-relief stations. You can find them around the lower library, check out our FUN section (Fiction + Boardgames), and the areas around the beanbags and the blue sofa.

You will be able to find:

* Origami, pom-pom crafts, colouring bookmarks, games...
* Collaborative puzzle (by the blue sofa), and a new collection of board games
* A variety of treats, from sweets to donoughts (on advertised days, follow us for more info!)
* Fidgety Toy Station, because that's always a good idea.

***OPENING TIMES, WEEK 13-18 April***

📣📣📣Extended Hours are Back!!!📣📣📣

The Library will be opening 9-to-9 this week, Monday to Friday. The OLD JCR is available 6pm-8am Monday & Tuesday, AND 5pm-9am Wednesday to Friday.

Remember that you can still book our STUDY ROOMS, use the QR Code provided.

***OPENING TIMES, WEEK 07-12 April***

We are still opening 9am to 5pm during this week, but there's still the option to book a STUDY ROOM, or to go directly to the OLD JCR after closure. This room in college has been RESERVED for quiet study for library users, and will remain so until our normal opening hours resume.

***FRIENDLY REMINDER***

We are closing the library over the Easter Weekend, from 3rd of April to 6th April INCLUSIVE. Here are some ideas of what you can do instead:

* Enjoy the beautiful outdoors.
* Discover the Cambridge LIDO (or use the pool onsite)
* Visit that one Museum in Cambridge you haven't been to yet.
* Walk to Ely.
* Do a short film session of your favourite director for your friends.
* Start journaling.

Of course, if none of the above suits, and you need a quiet indoor place to work, remember that our STUDY ROOMS (bookeable) and OLD JCR (drop-in, from 5pm on Thursday to 9am on Tuesday) are still available.
