Ayr Advertiser are sharing newspaper photos from 15 years ago, and this popped up. From 2011 after the school’s positive inspection. The pupils featured will now be aged 27/28. Time passes too quickly!

The holidays are over. Back to school tomorrow! Time to get the uniform and school bag ready and set the morning alarm. Let’s all arrive on time and looking smart.
We’re looking forward to another great year and especially to welcoming our new S1s. S1s should go the Theatre at 8.45am, all other pupils to their GIRFEC classes. Everyone will receive a new timetable.

Thanks to Girvan Harbour Master Simon Voce who came into school today to lead assemblies on water safety. A very important topic given recent tragedies during periods of hot weather.

Congratulations to our School Captains (Declan Griffin and Sarah Millar) and Vice Captains (Elouise Connelly and Ruby Cunningham) for session 2026-27 who were appointed this week following an interview process.

The huge haul of food donated by pupils and staff was delivered today to the South Ayrshire Foodbank in the Milestone Church.

Our food bank food collection was also a House competition which was won by Doune House with 200 items. Very close though- 186 Trochrague and 183 Doune. That’s 569 in total. A great effort from everyone

A reminder that tomorrow we will have a summer non-uniform day. The theme is summer or festival clothes. A donation of a tin or packet for our food bank appeal would be appreciated.
