Glasgow Labour has set out a clear alternative — a budget that invests in our people and protects our communities.
After years of cuts imposed by the SNP Government, our city faces huge pressures. But instead of passing the burden onto families, Glasgow Labour has chosen a different path. One that focuses on supporting residents, strengthening services, and investing in Glasgow’s future.
Our proposals include extending free school meals to Primary 7 pupils, helping families with the cost of living and ensuring every child has the support they need to learn and thrive.
We are investing in tackling vermin and fly tipping, improving neighbourhood services, and restoring full-time, face-to-face support so residents can access the help they need.
We are backing social housing development to help address Glasgow’s housing emergency, and supporting business investment to create jobs and grow our economy.
This is about priorities. Glasgow Labour is choosing to invest in people, support families, and rebuild our city after years of SNP decline.
