Blue Triangle is growing and we're looking for an Area Manager to join our award winning team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead established services in Oban and help shape the next chapter of our work in the Highlands, ensuring people affected by homelessness have access to safe accommodation and the support they need to move forward.

99% of the people we supported told us they felt welcomed or very welcomed when they first moved in.

That comes from our supported people survey, and it matters to us. We don’t just provide accommodation. We’re here to support everyone, whatever that looks like, and a safe place where people feel welcome is where it starts. It’s what people need if they’re going to rebuild their lives and move forward.

As a Cleaner in Hamilton, you’ll help create clean, welcoming spaces where people feel safe and supported.

As a Relief Worker in Oban, you’ll work alongside the people we support, offering practical and emotional support as they build confidence and work towards the future they choose.

A day of learning, teamwork and a bit of fun for our Chalmers Court team. 💙

The team recently headed to Rozelle House and Country Park for a Development Day, taking time to think about communication, the support they provide and how the words we use can reflect each person as an individual, rather than defining them by their circumstances.

There was plenty of time to reconnect too, with a Blue Triangle treasure hunt, lunch, coffee and lots of laughs along the way.

A lovely day to step away from the usual routine, share ideas and learn together.

October is Make a Will Month, and it's a good time to think about leaving a gift in your will.

One person we supported described their time with Blue Triangle simply: staff who cared, and treated them with respect. That's the kind of support we want to be able to offer for years to come, and it's only possible because of people who choose to leave a gift.

It's simpler than many people expect. You can leave a percentage of your estate or a fixed amount, and your solicitor can guide you through updating or creating your will.

Homelessness and poverty in Scotland are rising faster than ever. A gift in your will helps make sure that people facing homelessness in years to come won't be alone, and will have somewhere safe to turn.

Homelessness can be caused by all kinds of things: health issues, relationship breakdown, losing a job. You don't have to be sleeping rough to be homeless.

You might have a roof over your head and still be homeless if you're staying with friends or family, in a hostel or shelter, in overcrowded or unsafe conditions, or in conditions that are affecting your health.

This World Homeless Day, we're shining a light on what homelessness really looks like and reminding people that support is out there.

A huge thank you to The Scottish Pantry Network for donating 111 freshly prepared meals to our services in Hamilton, Blantyre and East Kilbride today.

The team have put so much care into preparing a selection of meals for the people we support — from breakfast through to dinner.

💙 Our supported people will enjoy sitting down together, sharing some good food and knowing that people in their community are thinking of them.

"I wasn't paying my mortgage. I wasn't asking for help. And so it came down to someone taking a drill to my front door and going, "look just grab your bags and go down to the council.."

This was the moment Rob became homeless, after losing his job during COVID and falling into mortgage arrears.

In Episode 11 of A Voice in the Dark, Rob shares his experience of homelessness and emergency accommodation, and how he eventually found stability and community at Blue Triangle.

As we mark World Homeless Day later this week, Rob’s story is a reminder that homelessness can happen to anyone.

We’re looking for Intensive Floating Support Workers in Falkirk, providing flexible, person-centred support to people as they move towards settled tenancies and adapt to life in the community.

You’ll work across a range of settings, including semi-independent flats, helping people build tenancy and life management skills, develop confidence and work towards their own goals.
