In addition to having personnel on operations abroad, we continue to fulfil our UK Operations role through providing support for the UK's Covid pandemic response. You can join the Army Reserves if you are aged between 18 and 49. Higher age limits will be considered for people with specialist skills and trades. Army Reserve soldiers are paid for each day they train. Pay increases with individual's time served, and rank achieved. There are other financial benefits to joining, such as the annual tax free bonus. To see soldiers daily rates of pay and bonus, please follow the link below. http://www.army.mod.uk/join/Careers-in-the-Army.aspx

Our training takes place on Tuesday evenings, between 1930 - 2130 hrs, and usually one or two weekends per month. You are not obligated to go to every training weekend, or training night, so it can fit well with full time employment, and family life. Throughout the training year, a lot of social events take place. Events such as Burns suppers, Halloween parties, Christmas functions, and some charity events. You will get to enjoy the social side of joining the reserves, as well as the main soldiering aspect of reserve life. If you are interested in joining the Regiment, and would like more information, please contact us via the email address, or the telephone number provided. Thinking about putting the uniform back on? 🪖

Joining the Army Reserve doesn’t mean you have to start from scratch. While we love welcoming completely new recruits, we also have a place for those who have previously served in the Regulars or Reserves.

Just this week, we welcomed our newest recruit, Ben! Ben is a 31-year-old software developer from Stirling who previously served with the Scottish & North Irish Yeomanry. He’s bringing his valuable prior experience over to 32 Signal Regiment, because your military journey doesn't have to end when you change units or civilian careers.

Whether you’ve been out for months or years, or you're just looking for a new challenge that fits around your day job, your experience is highly valued here.

👉 Ready to re-join or trade your skills? Drop us a message or visit your local Centre to find out how easy the transfer process is.
