Halloween is taking over the dock. 💀

We’re throwing a Halloween shred session packed with costumes, chaos and good times on the water.

Jam style riding — get your sets in, throw some tricks and enjoy the session with the crew. We’re bringing Halloween games, dockside challenges and a few surprises into the mix.

Come dressed to impress (or terrify), bring your mates and get involved. Whether you’re sending it on the water or bringing the energy on the dock, this session will bring the vibes!

All levels welcome. Costumes highly encouraged. Good times guaranteed.

Competing this Saturday? Here’s what you need to know before you hit the water.

3 LEVELS.
ROOKIE.
INTERS.
OPEN.

Each category is designed to keep things competitive, fair and seriously good fun — whether this is your first comp or you’re coming to throw down.

We’ve pulled together the full RULES + FORMAT so you know exactly how the day will run, how runs are judged, what counts, and what happens if things don’t quite go to plan.

No surprises. Just good riding, 10 obstacles, big energy and a full day at the Yard.

We’ve broken down each category so you know exactly where to enter and what to expect on the day.

New to competing? This one’s for you.

Rookie is all about getting involved, putting down a clean run and having a go. Perfect for newer riders who are building confidence on obstacles and starting to piece tricks together.

No pressure. Just ride, send it and enjoy your first taste of competition.

You’ve got the basics dialled. Now it’s time to step it up.

Inters is for riders who are confident around the park, comfortable hitting obstacles and have a solid mix of tricks they can bring into a run.

Clean riding, good variety and a bit of creativity will go a long way.

Big tricks. Big lines. No holding back.

Open is for experienced riders ready to show what they can do across the full park. Expect technical tricks, creative lines, bigger sends and riders pushing the level.

This is where you bring your best stuff.

10 OBSTACLES. 3 ABILITY LEVELS. ONE CANAL.

On Saturday 26 September, The Wake Yard turns into the battleground for Canal Clash//26 — a full day of competition, progression and big sends.

With 10 obstacles in the park, riders will have loads of options to build their line, get creative and show what they can do.

And you do not need to be an expert to enter.

Choose your level:

ROOKIE — newer riders, first comp, come and have a go.
INTERS — progressing riders ready to step it up.
OPEN — bigger tricks, technical lines and serious sends.

Whether you’re entering your first ever competition or coming to send it in Open, Canal Clash is for all levels.

Got a mate who’s never ridden at The Wake Yard?

Bring them down this September and you BOTH get a £10 voucher to use the next time you ride.

You bring the new blood.
We’ll sort the next send.

HOW IT WORKS
Book a session together → bring someone new to The Wake Yard → ride → both get £10 towards your next session.

T&Cs: Friend must not have ridden at The Wake Yard before. Both riders must ride together on the same day. You must message The Wake Yard at the time of booking to let us know you’re claiming the New Blood offer — vouchers cannot be claimed retrospectively. £10 voucher is issued to each eligible rider after the qualifying session and is for use against a future session at The Wake Yard. One voucher per person per qualifying referral. Vouchers will have a one month expiry from date of issue. Vouchers have no cash value and cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash. Offer applies to eligible September bookings only and cannot be combined with other promotions. Eligible sessions include Learn to Wakeboard & Wakeboard 15 minutes.
