Thank you…. To all my couples for their kindness and understanding this week as I took on a couple of extra ceremonies for families who needed me this week. It means the world.

1st August…… 📅 A new month and an opened diary for the beginning of a calendar year.

If you know me, you know that I’m a little apprehensive of what the future holds, especially since this year started with a little uncertainty 🥹

However, since I’ve been asked by some lovely couples who may I say are SUPER ORGANISED who’d like to book me, I’ve opened my diary 16 months in advance🤭.

I feel I’m much more of a last min go to celebrant (which I love too as it keeps me on my toes!) 🩰 especially for all those amazing overseas couples!

I never ever take this role for granted and still cannot believe that I get to hear all your amazing life journey stories whether this be on a level of true love starting out or love that is deep rooted for a loved one sharing in their celebration of life.

I’m so lucky to get to work with incredible and fascinating people, venues, suppliers, and teams. A big thanks as always to Fuze who are always so fully supportive.

Human Interaction………………………..

There is so much AI around that it is easy to forget and underestimate that human interaction will always be the ultimate way to connect.
The moments in these photos are all about human connection. 👆🏻👆🏻I don’t normally share private moments on my business page, but it felt appropriate (and yes I got permission from the clan).

Listening, understanding, having empathy and of course love. ❤️
Whilst these show my lovely sisters on an impromptu visit that we rarely get, that same feeling is at the heart of every ceremony I create.

Whether this is a wedding, a celebration of life 🤍, a naming ceremony or vow renewal I believe my warmth, presence and genuine human connection remains the same. - Always.

I hope my ceremonies make you FEEL as this is what truly lasts as those feelings stay with you forever.

I often quoted Carl W. Buehner to our children as they grew up… (last photo). It’s a wonderful sentiment to go by.

It’s ………………….been a minute 🕰️

Having not much interaction on socials recently I thought I’d put out a little post.

I’m fiercely protective of my privacy and all the families I represent, and with having almost 5 months to reflect I’m still very much of that mindset.

However I do try not to take myself too seriously and I’ll only ever record a segment twice as I fear I’d procrastinate if I did anymore. 🤭

First video was the first attempt, (the real one) 2nd is the social media post (smoke and mirrors), 🪞 but with the same heartfelt message. 🫶 as I love to read 📖 and I love Donna Ashworth!

World 🌍 Humanism Day AND Summer Solstice ☀️

Still cannot believe that I have this incredible role, which has taught me that the connections we build, the kindness we share, the compassion, empathy and respect that we have for each other is the ONLY way to live our life’s to the fullest.

On this Summer Solstice (and boy is it good to see the ☀️) the longest day of the year, it’s reminding me the importance of pausing to appreciate life’s moments, the people we love and cherish and the light that we can bring to each others lives.

In my role, you naturally need to be visible, but in reality, that’s completely opposite to who I am (unless you REALLY know me). 😉

I’ve always preferred privacy and tend to work as discreetly and unobtrusively as possible during any ceremony.

If I could blend into the background, I absolutely would. No theatrics…. It’s all about you🫶

That said, if you’d like a little insight to my personality this is probably one of the best descriptions I’ve come across……………….

It’s National Doughnut 🍩 Week! Bakeries across the UK donate towards the Children’s Trust every year during the month of May.

Love these gorgeous sweet bites and love even more that last year G & G favoured this as their wedding cake! So unique and so utterly them. ❤️

I love to see beautiful artistic creations but I love just as much the simplicity of having something completely unique to you too! That’s what your wedding ceremony should be, unapologetically you! ❤️
