A reminder that applications have reopened for the Chair of the new HMIE Advisory Council, with an extended deadline to allow further interest in this important national role.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced senior education leader to help shape scrutiny and support improvement across Scotland’s education system.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the Council reflects the voices and needs of learners, educators and communities.

The chosen candidate will chair the Advisory Council for a period of two years, with the option to extend following review. Advisory Council meetings will be held quarterly and the Chair must be able to commit to 10 to 15 days per year.

💰 This is a fee paid role with a daily rate of £292.
