We partner with a larger number of referral partners across Newtownabbey, including Community Advice, Women's Aid, MLA offices, Health Agencies, churches, etc. I

A Co Antrim foodbank has moved to larger premises to help meet growing demand, with the charity claiming a 20pc increase in the number of people seeking support compared to the same period last year.

Through the course of the year, Newtownabbey Foodbank helped close to 3,000 people through its four main sites.

This morning colleagues from our Probationer Support Unit were glad to help Newtownabbey Food Bank move their stock across the road to new premises within the Carnmoney Presbyterian Church site.

Thanks to everyone at the Food Bank for their efforts in providing such a wonderful service as well as those who contribute by donating when they can.

Many people are currently struggling with the cost of living. Please know there are services locally who can help.
