Our social media channels feature a variety of information from our services and partners, keeping you informed and up to date with what's happening across

Fife. We're here to help in any way that we can, and we will always aim to be supportive and respectful in our posts and any comments we respond to. We expect the same of all those contributing to our page. We want our social media channels to be safe, healthy, and open places for discussion and the exchange of views and we have the following house rules to help support that.

- All users must comply with the social media platform's terms of use as well as our own terms of use
- We answer enquiries/messages as soon as possible within working hours
- We will remove, in whole or in part, posts that we feel are inappropriate – for example bullying or harassment - or discriminatory against any individual or group
- You are wholly responsible for any content you post including content you choose to share

We will remove messages (where function allows) and report and/or block users on our social media channels who post messages at us which we believe are:

- abusive or obscene
- deceptive or misleading
- in violation of any intellectual property rights, including copyright
- in violation of any law or regulation
- spam and off-topic content (persistent negative and/or abusive posts in which the aim is to provoke a response)
- promotional material, including links to external websites and promotions

Anyone repeatedly engaging with us using content or language which falls into the above categories will be blocked and/or reported to the associated social media platform. We will not tolerate or respond to abusive messages. We must always remain politically neutral on social media which is why council officers are unable to reply to, endorse or engage with, any content that is of a party political nature. Political issues can be discussed with local councillors.

Open to sporting organisations across Scotland, including sports clubs, after-school groups and community organisations.

Age Scotland's Encouraging and Supporting Grassroots Activity (ESGA) Fund is now open for applications.

Grants are available for community organisations supporting people living with dementia and their unpaid carers through activities taking place between 1st April 2027 and 31st March 2028.

The fund supports projects that:
* Reduce isolation and strengthen community connections
* Improve health and wellbeing
* Build sustainable local dementia support

The Thomas Wall Trust is offering funding for charities supporting disadvantaged adults (18+) to develop communication and employability skills.

⚡ The Community Energy Growth Fund is now open!

A new funding opportunity is now open through the Scottish Government's Community and Renewable Energy Scheme (CARES), delivered by Local Energy Scotland.

The Community Energy Growth Fund supports eligible Scottish community organisations to develop, build and own renewable energy projects, creating long-term local benefits while supporting Scotland's net zero ambitions.

Applications are open until 14th of September 2026.

Funded activities must be completed and claims submitted by 15th of March 2027

Changing Places Toilets Scotland Fund is now open!

Funding is available to help organisations create Changing Places Toilets, improving dignity, safety and inclusion for disabled people, their families and carers.

The fund can support planning, development and installation costs, including up to £10,000 towards development costs. These larger, fully accessible facilities provide the space and specialist equipment needed by people who require carer support.
