Last night, members of our party and the local community gathered at the Gloucester guild hall to watch the amazing People’s Emergency Briefing🔥

It was an incredibly detailed, informative night with an urgent, yet necessary, movie explaining the consequences of global climate change in the Uk, followed by a 30 minute discussion on what we can do to help aid our planet!🌍🌲

“It was quite terrifying and certainly underscored the urgency and far reaching impact of the situation.” -Amy

“The takeaway for me was that fossil fuels are the new terrorism. Until our government gets round to making them illegal we have to act as if they are illegal already.” -Fran

“The realisation that it would be truly cheaper for the whole nation to go fully renewable energy really showed me how important it is to change our fossil-fuel filled ways” -Luke

“The People’s Emergency Briefing is a terrifying wake-up call. The science is screaming—why aren’t our leaders?” -Chelsea

We cannot afford more decades of political inaction. The facts are on the table, the alarm is ringing, and the time for half-measures is long gone.

Jules and Chelsea (and foster greyhound Buzz) were proud to attend today’s Unity Rally in Gloucester City Centre as a Gloucester Green Party member 💚

Listening to the speeches was a powerful reminder of what makes our community great: coming together to support one another, reject hate, and stand up for life-saving services like the RNLI. The brave volunteers of the RNLI put their lives on the line to save anyone in distress at sea—no matter who they are.

A huge thank you to the organisers and speakers for bringing us together and speaking up for solidarity, workers’ rights, and real community values.

An amazing day at Gloucester Pride today!🙌

An excellent experience from start to finish in which the Green members spoke to multiple people in the LGBTQIA+ community to hear their stances on the Green Party💚

It was wonderful to see and speak to so many friendly faces throughout the day and at our stall, thanks a bunch everyone!😁😁

Special thank yous to Luke, Jules and Matt for volunteering all day and setting up in the morning, and to two other generous Green volunteers for running the stall with us!✨✨

An awesome experience all around with a couple new members brought on 😎
