I am absolutely delighted to share that BIRDLIP have been awarded £20K from the Safer Streets Fund from the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Gloucestershire The consultation began on 1 March 2023 and I have been working with the Community Wellbeing Manager at Cotswold District Council, the Police and of course Birdlip Parish Council since then. The money will enable Birdlip PC to fund CCTV to deter Anti-Social Behaviour.

BIRDLIP - Last night's Parish Council meeting was attended by Gloucestershire The Police and Crime Commissioner for Gloucestershire Chris Nelson and Inspector Simon Ellson to answer questions about Barrow Wake, Traveller Encampments, Overnight Camping on Highway and Verges and Birdlip Hill Weight Limit. It is helpful to discuss such issues and collaborate.
