The constituency of Huntingdon is in the beautiful county of Cambridgeshire and includes the historic towns of Huntingdon, St Ives, St Neots, and Godmanchester. Huntingdon, the historic county town of Huntingdonshire, is famed as the birthplace of Oliver Cromwell and has been the site of a settlement since at least the sixth century. St Ives sits at the edge of the Great Fen, on the River Great Ouse, and also shares a connection with Oliver Cromwell, who lived there between 1631 and 1636. Godmanchester, which also sits on the River Great Ouse, has been settled since Roman times. The Liberal Democrats in Huntingdon are the only real opposition to the Conservatives. Only the Liberal Democrats can defeat the Conservatives in Huntingdon. On Huntingdonshire District Council, the majority of the Liberal Democrat opposition group serve in the Huntingdon constituency, giving people in the constituency a strong local voice at district level. The Liberal Democrats also form the opposition to the Conservative administration on Cambridgeshire County Council. Bad day at the office eh? 🪾

While the Conservatives can't make their sums add up, we're taking real action. Lib Dem-led HDC has cut its emissions by 66.2% since 2019, and saved over £140,000 of taxpayer money on energy bills thanks to new solar panels at OneLeisure sites. 🌿⚡

That's what we're doing to build a fairer, greener, and better Huntingdonshire. 🔶

OneLeisure is going from strength to strength under Lib Dem-led HDC. 🎉

There were over *1.6 million* visits to OneLeisure sites in 2025/26, 10% up on the year before - thanks to the investment we've put into Huntingdonshire's leisure facilities (and those stats don't even include the newly reopened Sawtry swimming pool). ⚽
