Lib Dem-led HDC and Lib Dem councillors are supporting community groups across Hunts with vital grant funding. 🌳
These policies and the grant funding from it helps make our area greener, keep people healthier, and bring people together. 🧡
Here's four grants across Huntingdonshire that councillors Debbie and Nathan had the pleasure of signing off:
Councillors Debbie Mickelburgh and Nathan Hunt recently approved four applications for Community Chest Grant awards!
The fantastic local projects that will make a real difference to communities across Huntingdonshire:
- Loves Farm House Community Centre will install solar reflective window films, creating a cooler, more comfortable and energy-efficient community space.
- Fenstanton Village Hall Trust will establish a weekly Active & Ageing Well Hub, helping older residents stay active, independent and connected.
- CARESCO will replace its community BBQ, to support events, volunteering activities and fundraising that benefit many local people.
- Abbotsley Village Hall will launch a series of activity tasters, from Yoga and Tai Chi to Baby Groups, Lego Clubs and crafts, helping bring the community together.
Together, these projects will support wellbeing, reduce isolation, strengthen community connection and help local people thrive.
