Our 2026 season has arrived - The House and Courtyard Cafe will be open for visitors from Friday 1st May until Monday 28th September 2026. Entry to the House is by Public tours only at 11.30am and 2.00pm on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. The cafe is open between 11.00am and 4.00pm on the same days.
Out-with these days the grounds are open every day, all year from 11.00am to 5.00pm.

Tickets for the House and/ or Grounds are available from The Stone Hall entrance in the left hand side wing.
Private Tours for groups can be booked out-with the above dates.
Children under 16 free of charge
Historic Houses Members free of charge.

Snowdrops and Winter Walks on Saturday 21 February, 11am - 4pm
Mellerstain House and Gardens invite you to enjoy our beautiful snowdrops in the 100 acres of mature parkland, formal gardens and lakeside walks
The cafe will be open for cakes, bakes and hot drinks.
Tickets available from the Cafe in the Courtyard Entry £8 for Adults. children under 16years free of charge.

Five sleeps until our 'Autumn Colour' Garden Open Day.

On Saturday 25th October Mellerstain in conjunction with Scotland's Garden Scheme.

The grounds are open 11am-5pm…You'll find beautiful autumnal colours spread throughout the grounds.
Admission to the grounds £6, children under 16 years are free.
The cafe will be open between 11am and 4pm for drinks and treats, cake, traybakes etc.
