MK Ambulance Service, we are a Medical Events Company offering First Aiders, First Responders, and Ambulance with qualified Ambulance staff.
After the Manchester Bombings, liabilty is one of the questions that will be asked if anything goes wrong, and some insurance companies are also insisting on Medical Coverage, which would be scrutinised if any incidents occurred.
Why do you need our services?
LIABILITY any organisation or individual organsing an event will be liable for attendees medical needs, even at the smallest Events things can go wrong. Elderly or children falling over, people serving hot food burning themselves, Heart Attacks and Strokes.
With the increasing NHS Emergnecy Ambulances delays in responding due to them being overworked, would you like to see someone laying on the floor for hours without receiving any treatments?.
There are Health and Safety guidelines for events called the Purple Guide, although only a guideline, questions that are often asked is why did you not try and conform to these guidelines.
You need to complete a risk assessment to reduce your liabilty which will show if you are required to have First Aiders for the lowest cover, or as a Medium risk or High Risk do you require an Ambulance with two fully qualified Ambulance Staff to administer treatment to those who are injured or become ill.
We can assist you completing a risk assessment and an Operation Order if you have not completed one before, as this is a new process which you need to do for your protection against liability.
We are fully insured to treat the injured or ill people which means that if any medical incident happen, we take the liabilty for treating people and where necessary arrange transportation to hospital.
We are in the process of gaining our CQC registration making us a government registered Ambulance Service. We have partnerships with other ambulance service in order that we can cover all events large and small.
