Good News for Gosport! Our Tourist Information Centre has re-opened thanks to an agreement between Gosport Council and a local businessman. It's a 'Win:Win' for Gosport, we get our T.I.C. back while saving Gosport Council taxpayers £59,000 a year in running costs.

A well-deserved success for Christchurch Ward's Lib. Dem. Cllrs. Dawn Kelly & Julie Westerby who've been campaigning to restore The Royal Arms canopy to its former glory.

A total of £400,000 is being shared out among the owners so they can restore their shopfronts and make the most of their historic character.
The businesses are the first to successfully apply for grants, funded by Historic England, as part of Gosport's high street heritage action zone scheme (HSHAZ).
