* Who would want to be driving knowing their little one is safe and sound in the back of the car?
* We as parents have been told to keep are children in a rear facing car seat and a five point harness for as long as possible. Now new legislation is saying that a child should not be wearing a coat in the car. Most children do not like a car seat and if they do its not for long.
* I as a grandmother have experienced my grandchild being able to get free from the upper body part of the seat harness, but still being held in at the waist by the locking part.
* 250.000 children a year sustain serous injures to the pelvic area in an accident.
*When a car is travelling at 40 mph, the child in the back, that is not in their harness incorrectly is actually travailing at about 80mph. Which means that if the car stops suddenly the child could suffer life threatening injuries.
*Children are very flexible and we are told to tighten the straps, how tight is tight enough because they wriggle and move about and still are able to get free.
*I have a solution to the problem, which i have designed and made, my daughter is using it on her own child. As seem in the picture below.
*The BUG-Z BEAR, yes that's right! why the name, because it BUGz every parent that, their child gets out there harness, this will lower the risk of children getting pelvis and back injuries as its stops them getting there arms, but will not stop them from being able to move about.
*I have also made a smaller version that can be used in a high chair and also in a push chair.
*Now the question of how much.
