David Attenborough Day! What a fun way to celebrate this great mans 100th birthday. This is just a selection of the fantastic costumes that the children wore today. Thank you for your donations. We raised £89.00 for the World Wildlife Fund.

David Attenborough Day!

This Friday is David Attenborough's 100th Birthday. Like many other local schools, we would like to come together as a school to mark this milestone and share in the celebration.

Friday will be a non-school uniform day where we will ask the children to come to school dressed in Green, Blue or Animal print. This will be for a donation of £1 towards the World Wildlife fund, for which David is an Ambassador.

The children will have the opportunity to take part in activities during the day, including a live streamed assembly so they can take part in the celebrations with other schools across the country.

We will be giving the children the opportunity to design birthday cards for David and our best entry will be selected and sent to Sir David on behalf of our school.

We’re so proud to see some of our Elson Infant School pupils taking part in the St George’s Day parade in Gosport on Sunday 26th April 🇬🇧
Although they weren’t representing the school on this occasion, it was fantastic to spot them out in the community with their Scout and Guiding groups, showing confidence, teamwork and pride. What a brilliant way to celebrate such an important day!

Today families receive notification of their child's Year R place for September.
We would like to wish a warm welcome to all of our families (old and new) who will be joining us in September. We can't wait to have you with us soon and look forward to seeing you at our welcome event and transition sessions. If you have been offered a place, we will be in touch very soon!
