I want the next generation of shipbuilding and maritime workers to be trained in Greenock.

In a major step forward, the National Manufacturing Institute for Scotland (NMIS), West College Scotland and Inverclyde Council have agreed a partnership to create the training and skills centre at Inchgreen, funded by the UK Government.

Today, plug in solar panels become legal in Scotland, England and Wales.

Not everyone is able to get solar panels on the roof, leaving many households unable to benefit from generating clean, homegrown power. Today we’re changing that.
