If you do (or if you know someone who does) then come along to our group tomorrow - Thursday 4th June - in the Tryst Community Centre, Park Drive, Stenhousemuir from 10.00-11.30am.

It’s another busy week for the Forth Valley Pandas Support Group team with all 3 of our groups running.

On Tuesday - 19 May - it’s our Mindful Crafting Group in the Tryst Community Centre, Park Drive, Stenhousemuir from 7.30-9.00pm. It’s a painting craft this week so if you would like to join us please just DM.

On Thursday - 21 May - it’s Parenting Multiples - Stenhousemuir/Larbert and Surrounding Areas again in the Tryst Centre from 10.00-11.30am. This is a lovely welcoming group for any parents who have 2 or more children under nursery age. This might be twins, triplets or singletons born close to each other.

We provide a safe environment for the little ones to play while you get refreshments and a chat with other parents who understand the challenges of parenting multiples. There’s also volunteers on hand to help out with the little ones.

On Friday - 22 May - it’s our Peer Support Group in The Point Community Cafe from 10.00-11.30am. This group is for all parents (yes dads can suffer from perinatal mental health issues too) who have found that their mental health has been adversely impacted by pregnancy, birth or in the postnatal period. It’s not just depression - mental health can be affected in many ways in the perinatal period - OCD, PTSD, anxiety, intrusive thoughts………..

All of our groups are FREE thanks to funding from Todhill Wind Farm and support from Stenhousemuir FC Community Foundation.

If you would like any further information about any of our groups please get in touch.

It’s a busy week for Forth Valley Pandas Support Group as we have all 3 of our groups running.

Tonight - Tuesday 5th May - is our Mindful Crafting Group in the Tryst Community Centre, Park Drive, Stenhousemuir from 7.30-9.00pm.

This lovely group helps if you would like to be more mindful but find it difficult. With just 10 minutes of mindful relaxation followed by a crafting session. Crafts are fairly simple allowing you to get involved in the craft but still able to have a chat. Refreshments are provided.

On Thursday - 7th May - it’s our Parenting Multiples - Stenhousemuir/Larbert and Surrounding Areas in the Tryst Community Centre from 10.00-11.30am. This group is for families with multiple children under the age of 3 (or not yet eligible for the free hours at preschool/nursery). This might be twins, triplets or 2 or more singletons.

Parenting is hard. The challenges that parents with multiples face are different to those who have one baby at a time. Our group provides a safe place for children to play, volunteer help with the children, tea/coffee/snacks and an opportunity for parents to chat about the unique challenges faced by parents of multiples.

On Friday 8th May it’s our Peer Support Group. This group is for all parents suffering from any form of perinatal mental health issue - depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD……. Our group is run by fully trained volunteers who also have their own lived experience of perinatal mental health issues. We are there to guide you through the challenges of returning to full health. We can point you in the direction of additional support as well as ensuring you remain in an environment that is completely confidential and non- judgemental.

All of our groups are fully funded by Forth Valley Pandas (with support from Todhill Wind Farm) and Stenhousemuir FC Community Foundation so are FREE of charge.

Please DM if you would like any further information or just come along on the Day. (For Mindful Crafting please send us a message as we need to know numbers). Thank you.

Perinatal Mental Health remains to carry a lot of stigma and perceived judgement. This week let’s get people talking about it, removing the stigma and helping families navigate the challenges caused by Perinatal Mental Health issues.

Maternal Mental Health Awareness Week is one of the most important weeks in the PANDAS calendar.

Every day, we hear from parents navigating the realities of perinatal mental illness, the highs, the lows, and everything in between. This week gives space to those experiences, and shines a light on the support that so many still need.

Led by Perinatal Mental Health Partnership UK, this year marks 10 years of awareness, advocacy and change.

The 2026 theme, A Decade of Voices, is a powerful reminder that while progress has been made, too many people still don’t feel heard when it comes to their mental health.

At PANDAS, we see the impact of that every day and we also see the difference it makes when someone is listened to, believed, and supported.

Throughout the week, we’ll be sharing information, stories, and support to amplify voices, challenge stigma, and remind you that you are not alone.

Unfortunately we have had to cancel our groups this month as we have a shortage of volunteers.

Would you like to volunteer with us?? All we need you to be able to do is make a hot drink, chat to parents, hold a baby or play with a toddler.

This is a group that supports parents who have multiple children under nursery age - twins, triplets or singletons born in quick succession.

If you think you could help and have 3-4 hours per month to spare we would love to hear from you. Please just drop us a DM and we’ll get back to you. 👶👶👶
