CORONA VIRUS WORKING PRECAUTIONS
Due to the current status and restrictions placed upon us by the government I would like to reassure my clients and other residents that I am available for oil boiler and heating breakdowns and plumbing emergencies.
Social distancing of at least 2m wiil be strictly adhered to, protective gloves and overshoes will also be worn to reduce the risk of cross contamination.
Elderly and vulnerable clients requiring my services will be risk assessed on an individual basis to ensure precautions and safety measures are in place to reduce exposure levels even further.
The boiler and surfaces around the work area where possible will be disinfected prior to and after work has been completed.
I hope you are all well and staying safe, if I do not see you during this difficult period then I look forward to seeing you in the future when we finally get the better of this awful virus and return to some kind of normality.

Manufacturers of all boilers advise and recommend an annual service to ensure your boiler is running safely and efficiently. Over a one year period carbon particles, fuel residue and natural products of combustion are able to adhere to the inside of your boiler combustion chamber surfaces resulting in reduced air flow and incomplete combustion which can dramatically reduce boiler efficiency. During a complete and correct
service the baffles and internal surfaces are scraped and cleaned to remove the deposits returning the boiler to its original condition which in turn increases your boilers efficiency levels saving you money whilst also reducing the impact that a poorly running boiler can have on the environment.
Failing to service your boiler as recommended by the manufactures instructions will invalidate the manufacturers warranty and can also invalidate your home insurance!
